Everybody dislikes
to lose and unfortunately no one is endowed with the capability of
understanding, therefore failures are an expected part of dealing. When we get
into a business we will either be right, or incorrect, and even if we
broke-even we'd still be considered as being incorrect — as nobody goes into
into a business just to break-even! When not successful investors experience a
sequence of failures they start to practice self-destructive styles that help
them evade the discomfort they are suffering from.
Bring to lighting
these self-destructive activities that can help you recognize what you are
doing before it takes carry of your wellness. If you see that you are already
engaged in these styles hopefully this content can help you to get you
returning to regular as quickly as possible.
What are the
dangerous patterns?
If you see that
you are found in a sequence of failures or a bad doing week/month be sure to
observe your conduct. It is during now that you will be at your most insecure.
You will start to practice activities that at first seem simple, but upon
extreme use (or in time), start to cause actual harm to your wellness.
Ask yourself the
following question: during drawdown times do I discover myself over-indulging
in these activities:
Food (especially
fast meals — e.g. candy, ice-cream, chips)?
Sex (includes
watching pornography)?
Alcohol?
Drugs (includes
extreme smoking)?
Laziness (find it
difficult to awaken in the morning)?
Entertainment?
All of the above
taken in extreme amounts can be damaging to your own wellness (some even in
little doses!).
These activities
above during your dropping period are only protecting up the discomfort of
dealing with the true problem, and your body system tries to rid the emotional
discomfort by trying to "fix" it with actual treats. Unfortunately it
is going about it in the incorrect way, so what should you do?
Firstly... REALIZE
WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND STOP IT!
You need to
recognize what you're doing and you need to STOP doing it immediately! You can
either choose to prevent, or you'll be required to prevent when your body
system gradually smashes down and stops you from any way of activity. It will
be much more valuable to you in the long-term if you can choose to prevent
*NOW*.
Once you have
ceased you now need to determine a way to fix the discomfort — not by reducing
out or ignoring it, but by gazing it in the experience. Carry your problems out
into the lighting, be sincere with yourself. There can be no growth without
pain; you are suffering from the emotional discomfort, now it's about a chance
to discover the mistake and therefore your growth.

procedure starts in two individual areas: You & Your Program. Here are some
records for you to go through to discover out where the problem could lie:

SYSTEM" CHECKLIST
Was your body
system thoroughly examined just before dealing it (or document exchanged if you
do not have the potential to program your body system into returning examining
software)?
Did you analyze
with out-of-sample data?
Do you even have a
system???? If you do not, how do you even know if the method that you are
dealing is even profitable??
Is your body
system value correct?
Did you
over-optimize your system? (What have we mentioned about over-indulging?)
Did you document
business your body system just before putting investment on it?
Did you business
with a bit of investment just before putting the relax of your resources on it?
Do you know the
body system limitations?
Did you
effectively routine your system? (See our weblog content on why I am it developer

Is the present
drawdown you are presenting with your body system normal?
Are you relaxed
with your body system traditional drawdown performance?
Are you completely
aware of the threats engaged with your body system and the instrument(s) you
are trading?
Are you dealing
with resources that you are relaxed risking?
Are you depending
too intensely on your performance?
Have you set
genuine goals?
As you can see
there are usually two places that you need to explore: the technical element —
your body system — and the emotional element — you. Both can be accountable to
make the way you feel the way you do. It will either be one on the body system
side with how it was examined and/or designed, or it can be your own emotional
information not being relaxed with the body system efficiency.

Modify = Your Growth
What actions
should we now take? Now that we started a remedial procedure where we have
ceased the wicked characteristics of our over-indulging ways to take control we
should proceed our "corrective nature" by invoking our conclusions
and taking ACTION in solving our mistakes.
If the problem was
technical — fix it, if the problem was emotional either go about establishing
up new thought styles, or improve your present system. The answers lie in
whether you need to develop your understanding in system growth, or whether you
need to develop psychologically as a person.
Unfortunately
there is no easy street, and even if there was everybody would be doing it.
